"Sunglasses!? You don't need any more bloody sunglasses!" That was the reaction I got when I showed my boyfriend what I had bought during my shopping spree the other day. True, I do have many pairs of shades(the proof is here), but they where 50p and I've wanted a pair like these since last summer, and... they where 50p!
I have to say I did go a bit shopping mental. It was like a part of me had gone in to hibernation, and with spring, new trends and a 'sudden' influx of cash (not much, but enough for a satisfactory spree) the shopping bug awoke. After about three hours I had to turn around and go home, my arms where sore from all the heavy shopping bags filled with pretty, new things. Because I came home with a lot of new stuff it was a bit hard to do a big haul post. So what I have done is broken it down in to several post to be released over the next little while. This first one, as you can probably deduce, are accessories.
Primark did me well this time. I found a large metal necklace that I really like. It will be such a versatile piece, perfect for adding a bit of a twist to an otherwise tame outfit. It will also look great under a collar, we all know that is the real reason I got it. I got another simple collar necklace in H&M, and I bought the one in silver for a bit of variety. In H&M I also got a lovely gold, metal hair accessory that will make a pony tail look a bit more exciting.
Finally, I bought two belts, also from Primark. I love belts and wear them nearly everyday. I didn't have a brown one before and I really like the metal details on this one. The pinky coloured belt went in to my carrier bag as a bit of an impulse purchase. It will be nice to be able to add a little pop of colour to outfits with it though so I'm sure I'll get some use out of it. Either way they where only about £2 each so no great financial loss.
So, that's that for my accessories haul, quite a nice little stash don't you think? Anyone else bought any new accessories this week?
Well, I'm off to the hairdresser. Wish me luck...
